Straight Out Scribes and Black Fire

Mother/Daughter poets Dr. V.S. Chochezi and Staajabu have poems included in the recently released epic anthology published by Willow Press. This is one to use in the clsssroom for Black Diaspora studies, ethnic studies, Black literature, etc, or just to enjoy. It includes classic Black poets such as Amiri Baraka and Maya Angelou, as well as contemporary and newer artists as well. We will let you know when we will be participating in a reading associated with this collection so stay tuned.
